Supporting Us

In order to fulfill its mission of protecting the legacy of Edna St. Vincent Millay, the Millay Society relies on the support of grants from funding agencies as well as gifts from generous friends. If you would like to assist us in our mission, particularly in the Steepletop restoration efforts, you can help in several ways.

If you would like to make a gift to support the restoration of the farmhouse at Steepletop, to support general operating efforts, or to assist in the procurement of a government or foundation grant, please email us at giving "at" millaysociety.org. In particular, we are in need of support for our Steepletop restoration efforts.

The Society is organized as an educational not-for-profit corporation as defined by Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3).
